Take an Online Survey and Help Determine the Future of Transportation in the Valley

WRTA is developing a Coordinated Public Transit Human Services Transportation Plan for Trumbull and Mahoning Counties. You can have input into how this plan takes shape by filling out an online survey.

“We are encouraging all residents and businesspeople in Trumbull and Mahoning Counties to participate in our survey, regardless of whether they are WRTA riders or not,” said WRTA Executive Director Dean Harris. “Their input is vital as we work to develop a long-term transportation plan that will benefit everyone.”

The purpose of the Transportation Plan is to assess transportation needs of underserved populations — including individuals with disabilities, minorities, and those with limited English proficiency, as well as seniors and low-income persons. Participants are being asked to share their knowledge of current transportation services (public and private), identify gaps in service, and recommend strategies to reduce and eliminate gaps and improve transportation in the region.

The Coordinated Plan will guide funding and service development for transportation projects supporting older adults, people with disabilities and individuals with low incomes in Trumbull and Mahoning Counties.
